The video work continues the exploration of relationship gestures, adding a further, more intimate dimension. In the video, historical and aestheticised images from the Casino Nobile at the Musei di Villa Torlonia are woven together with the duo’s family photographs, reflecting on the ways private memories intertwine with collective visual heritage. This journey through personal and historical imagery culminates in a group dance, introducing a more explicit choreographic dimension. Through this interplay of embodied gestures and archival imagery, Grossi Maglioni invite us to reflect not only on the invisible tensions that define a relationship, but also on how certain postures of domination, affection or even violence are inherited, absorbed, and transmitted across times and generations.
